This month was CRAZY.

Also as I’m typing this, I stabbed my thumb with a seam ripper a couple days ago so typing is really exciting.

My Love Affair with Bookish Home Décor!

So I’m going to be moving in about a month or so and I’m excited to be finally looking to decor the apartment how I want it. I’ll still have a roommate, but we have pretty similar styles so I know she would also enjoy these aspects as well. However, I’m torn between vintage, modern…

What I’m decluttering from my TBR list right now.

I got this post idea from Confessions of a YA reader. The idea is to go through your TBR list on Goodreads and get rid of any books you’re not planning on reading anymore. “Down The TBR Hole is a meme created by lost in a story that revolves around cleansing your TBR of all those books…

(Repost) Book Review: Afterworlds by Scott Westerfeld

Editor’s Note: This is a republished book review from my old blog in order to keep everything in one spot. This review was originally published on 7/26/15. (From Goodreads) Darcy Patel has put college and everything else on hold to publish her teen novel, Afterworlds. Arriving in New York with no apartment or friends she…

(Repost) Book Review: The Young Elites by Marie Lu

Editor’s note: This is a Book Review from 2016 on my old writing blog. I am migrating some of my favorite posts from there onto here. (From Amazon) I am tired of being used, hurt, and cast aside. Adelina Amouteru is a survivor of the blood fever. A decade ago, the deadly illness swept through her…

BookPage Review October 2020

Hi Everyone, I’m going to do this a bit differently from other Book Page reviews. I’m moving this week so everything is a bit crazy but I wanted to continue to get my regular blog posts out. So this will be a VERY brief showcase of the online version. I love that this book explores…

November

November will be interesting to see how it plays out. I just finished moving to a new apartment and currently I also hurt my back a couple days ago sleeping on an air mattress. I just started to see a chiropractor so we’ll see how that goes.

This month I’ll probably focus more on writing posts since it’s Nanowrimo instead of reading. I’m planning on sharing some blog posts related to Japan soon from my other blog as well.

I MIGHT post a book review, but it will probably be a repost. We’ll have to see if I get any reading done this month or not.
